Timber!

Here is the chopping of the tree as promised. I'm not gonna lie, I was a little nervous. Behind our yard is pretty much a 100 ft. drop so if Gary fell...not good. But we got it down with everyone safe and sound :) Now, I look forward to the day we can get some grass in the back yard.  Also, now we have wood for our wood burning stove in the basement. We got a fire going in it for the first time.
It's  good thing too, cause it has been getting a little chilly for us wimps here in St. George. Gary put a gazillion blankets on Tucker the other day.

Also, our basement is looking a lot better these days. We will be getting the carpet in tomorrow and Thursday.

Yikes! At least it won't fall on your house later...

You guys are so awesome and so ambitious!!! I have heard that it is cold down there. We expect it here, but the -18 this morning was still a little crazy. Hope you don't freeze. Your little bodies aren't used to it! Love Gary's solution with Tucker and all the blankets :)

Cookies & Creme fudge is amazing and super easy! Here's the recipe 18 oz. white chocolate chips, 1 can of sweetened condensed milk, 1/8 tsp. of salt and however many crushed oreos you want. Add everything but oreos and microwave for 1 minute. Stir and if chips are quite melted all the way microwave for 30 seconds. stir until well blended then add crushed oreos (I don't crush them too much because then your fudge will be a grey-ish color) and put in a greased pan. Let set up and then enjoy!!!!
